What is business mediation?

We’ll help you work together to identify and address the issues at hand, and to reach an agreement that’s satisfactory for all involved.

A mediator helps the parties to communicate, express their views, and explore potential solutions. The mediator does not make decisions for the parties, but rather helps them to come to a mutually agreed-upon solution. Business mediation can be used to resolve a variety of disputes, including financial, contractual, and employment-related disputes. It is a cost-effective option that can save time and money, and it can help to preserve relationships between the parties.

How does business mediation work?

The mediation process may vary, but it often includes the following steps:

  • Discovery: The parties interview each other to learn about each other’s positions and issues. Confidentiality is maintained throughout this stage.

  • Exploration: The mediator facilitates communication between the parties and helps them to explore how the issues might be resolved.

  • Evaluation: The parties discuss and evaluate the various possible resolutions.

  • Negotiation: The parties negotiate a mutually agreed-upon solution.

  • Closing: The parties discuss the implications of their agreement, and the mediator assists them with closing the mediation process.
